Ashanti Shequoiya, better popularly known as Ashanti, is a popular American singer and actress. She is a singer and actress who hails from in the United States. Ashanti, a teenage performer, songwriter and actress from the United States had her name signed by Murder Inc. Records to record in 2002. In the same year, she was featured as a guest on the Fat Joe's What's Luv? She also appeared on Fat Joe's song"What's Luv!" and the Ja Rules track Always on Time Both of them have been hugely successful. In the year she debuted her debut single"What's Luv which ranked at the second spot in the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and Foolish at the top spot featuring Foolish as her debut single, she was the only female artist to accomplish this feat.
