Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is widely credited with starting the modern scientific study of children's eyewitness memory and child victimes as witness in court situations. Prof. Goodman has published extensively as well as received numerous grants. She has also has been awarded many international and national prizes. She has worked with many government agencies and institutions all over the world to conduct policy and research relating to children who have been victims of the legal system. She is also a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional organizations that include Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman belongs to the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a Founding Member of the International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman has served as president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division and three Divisions of Child and Family Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
